Review

I was a little hesitant to read Lessons in Corruption because, for whatever reason, I don’t normally love an age gap where the woman is older.  This is completely a personal preference and no judgment, but I prefer the male to be dominant.

Well, let me tell you, I did not need to be worried.  Though King may be young, he is certainly not what I would call submissive.  He was probably the most mature eighteen-year-old ever.  I loved how he knew what he wanted and went after it.  For me, this story was more about Cressida finding herself.  Her whole life, she had let others tell her who she was, and she was finally free of that and able to be herself.

I’ve read a few other MC romances but not many, and after reading this one, I certainly want to read more.  I love the found family and camaraderie within the club.  I also enjoy the idea that there is some added danger.  Any illegal activities weren’t too present in this book, but I wonder if they start to play more of a role as the series progresses we will see more of that.  I plan to find out because I am sure as heck reading the next book.
