I might be a petite, lilac-haired girl who looks like a fragile doll, but they haven’t been introduced to my fangs yet. And they don’t know why I’m really here. Or that I’ll do whatever it takes to bring down the Fae who took my flesh and blood from me.

Review
Dark Fae is a paranormal reverse harem romance with amazing characters and an engrossing storyline.
I have to admit that paranormal isn’t my go-to genre, but I loved the world-building here. The authors did a wonderful job of showing us the different types of Fae without an information dump that I often see with paranormal romance.
I loved the characters, and I loved that we were getting everyone’s point of view. Not only did it help with getting to know the characters, but I think it helped with the world-building as well. Elise is a strong heroine, but you can also see her vulnerability, especially when it comes to her brother. All four of the harem guys are pretty mysterious; tough Gabriel and Ryder are especially so. I can’t wait to learn more about them as the series continues.
In addition to Elise and the guys’ points of view, we also get Gareth’s. So we as the readers know a little bit more about what’s going on with him than Elise. We see his interactions with all of the guys, and I certainly have some theories because of this. But, it also makes you like Gareth more, and it made me much more invested in Elise finding his killer.
I loved this story, and I can’t wait to read the next one!
