Voyeur by Fiona Cole

Synopsis

I didn’t know she was my student the first time I paid to watch her at Voyeur.

Once she walked into my classroom, another smiling college freshman, I knew I should stop going. Stop watching.

But I couldn’t do it. Everything about her makes me want more, and once I realize she wants me too, the temptation becomes irresistible.

The worst part is that she has no idea her professor is the one watching behind the glass.

I just have to hope that once she finds out the truth, she wants the same thing I do. Because now that I’ve seen all of her, I can’t look away.

Review

Voyeur is the sexiest book I have read that had so little actual sex in it.

I read Voyeur a while ago and vaguely remember the book’s premise, but I was fuzzy on the details. This is more than just a student-teacher romance. Though that was an element of the story, it seemed to be the least important element. Instead, it was Callum and his issues with sex and Oaklyn’s job at Voyeur that really played essential roles in the story.

Both Callum and Oaklyn were likable characters, and their chemistry was certainly there. I was rooting for them to the entire book. But of course, there seemed to be a lot of obstacles in their way. There were parts of this book I didn’t love. Callum’s jealousy, for one, while I understood it, I didn’t like what a hypocrite he was being. And being the older, presumably more mature person in the relationship, he acted like a child. But, on the other hand, I did appreciate the focus on sexual assault on boys and the aftermath of that. I feel like that isn’t something brought up a lot, and I liked having attention brought to that.

I did really enjoy this book and will certainly read more by this author!
