Synopsis

When I met Donovan Kincaid, I knew he was rich. I didn’t know he was filthy. Truth be told, I was only trying to get his best friend to notice me.

I knew poor scholarship girls like me didn’t stand a chance against guys like Weston King and Donovan Kincaid, but I was in love with his world, their world, of parties and sex and power. I knew what I wanted—I knew who I wanted—until one night, their world tried to bite me back and Donovan saved me. He saved me, and then Weston finally noticed me, and I finally learned what it was to be in their world.

And then what it was like to lose it.

Ten years later, I’ve found my way back. Back to their world. Back to him.

This time, I’m ready. I’ve been down this road before, and I know all the dirty, filthy ways Donovan will try and wreck me.

But it’s hard to resist. Especially when I know how much I’ll like it.

From NYT Bestselling author Laurelin Paige, discover a whole new world filled with sex, love, power, romance and dirty, filthy rich men.

Review

Dirty Filthy Rich Men is not my first book read in this universe.  In fact, I think it may be my third, and what turns me off every time I read one of these is the duology part.  These books could so easily just be one book.  It’s like when they split the last movie into two parts.

If you hadn’t guessed, Dirty Filthy Rich Men is the first book in a two-part series.  It starts with Sabrina, Weston, and Donovan in college.  Sabrina is in love with Weston, and Donovan is obsessed (?) with Sabrina.  Donovan was tough to get a read on, and since we don’t get any of his POV in this book, I’m not entirely sure what is going on with him.  I liked getting the background on all the characters.  It helped make sense of what was going on in the present.  I’m not entirely sure what Sabrina sees in other guys, to be honest, but I hope book two will help with that.

While I didn’t think this book was particularly dark, there are a few potential triggers, specifically rape, so just be warned.  There isn’t too much of a story other than Sabrina reentering Weston and Donovan’s lives; this book seemed like a setup for book two.  This book also ends on a cliffhanger, so you may want to be ready with book two when you read this one.
