Synopsis

There’s no absolution for the things I’ve done.
But I found a way to control my impulses.
I became a priest.

As Father Magnus Falke, I suppress my cravings. As the headteacher of a Catholic boarding school, I’m never tempted by a student.

Until Tinsley Constantine.

The bratty princess challenges my rules and awakens my dark nature. With each punishment I lash upon her, I want more. In my classroom, private rectory, and bent over my altar, I want all of her.

One touch risks everything I stand for. My faith. My redemption. And even my life.

As if that could stop me. I need her pain, and her heart, and she needs my lessons in sin.

Review

Lessons in Sin was everything I love in a forbidden and taboo romance.  Priest and Student-Teacher, yes, please!

I really liked Magnus and Tinsley, and I could easily see what they saw in one another.  Tinsley was a strong character who just wanted to make her way in the world.  Magnus is trying to make up for his past sins, and I like how his back story explained why he was a priest and why he would be attracted to Tinsley.

I liked how Magnus saw Tinsley for who she was.  Given Tinsley’s upbringing, it made sense that she would latch on to someone like Magnus. On the other hand, Magnus was so jaded that Tinsley’s innocence spoke to him.  The dual point of view helped this story; I particularly liked seeing Magnus try to keep his feelings for Tinsley in check.

This was a great steamy read that certainly left me wanting more!
