Review

I’ve seen the Twisted series all over Booktok and Bookstagram, and so I decided to start with the first book Twisted Love. I really hope the other books are better because I found this one mediocre.

My main issue stems from not liking Alex and not really seeing the chemistry between him and Ava. At least I didn’t see it until the very end. I liked Ava, she was sweet, and I liked what she brought out in Alex.

Twisted Love is a brother’s best friend romance, and I have to admit I was surprised that there was so much more to the story than that. In a way, this book almost seemed to do too much. There were so many conflicts in this book that I almost got to thinking, well, maybe these two shouldn’t be together. There were so many twists it was pretty over the top, and I didn’t think all that was necessary.

Do I plan to continue this series? Yes, but I hope it gets better.
