Review
Sinners Playground is the quintessential first book, with lots of setup, but not much action.
This book sets up Rogue as well as the guys. And really, it just seemed to be Rogue fighting with Fox and Chase and starting to get involved with JJ. I didn’t feel like the story didn’t progress much in this book, nor was there a ton of character development. I liked the characters well enough, but I didn’t really love any of them, and I found Rogue’s tantrums and the guys’ overbearing behavior annoying.
I did like the mystery and the gang element. I think this story is going in a good direction, but I wish there had been a little more in this book. I have to say the ending of this book seems to set up the next book very well, and I am intrigued to find out what happens next.
