Synopsis

Rowan
I’m in the business of creating fairy tales.
Theme parks. Production companies. Five-star hotels.
Everything could be all mine if I renovated Dreamland.
My initial idea of hiring Zahra was good in theory, but then I kissed her.
Things spiraled out of control once I texted her using an alias.
By the time I realized where I went wrong, it was too late.
People like me don’t get happy endings.
Not when we’re destined to ruin them.

Zahra
After submitting a drunk proposal criticizing Dreamland’s most expensive ride, I should have been fired.
Instead, Rowan Kane offered me a dream job.
The catch? I had to work for the most difficult boss I’d ever met.
Rowan was rude and completely off-limits, but my heart didn’t care.
At least not until I discovered his secret.
It was time to teach the billionaire that money couldn’t fix everything.
Especially not us.

Review

The Fine Print is the first book in the Dreamland Billionaires series.

Having grown up near Disneyland, I had a connection to this book. I loved the idea of a jaded billionaire having to find his inner child again at his family’s amusement park. Rowan was a great male main character. He played a great grump to Zahra’s sunshine. However, I appreciated that Rowan saw Zahra’s potential and never tried to keep her from achieving what she could.

Zahra was a wonderful character. I loved her. She was intelligent, dedicated, and loyal. The interactions between her and Rowan were so great. They had a great enemies-to-lovers relationship. Getting both Rowan and Zahar’s points of view made The Fine Print even more enjoyable. Seeing them fighting their attractions was so entertaining.

The story was very engaging. There was the obvious story taking place at Dreamland, but there was also more. Some of it, I think, will continue in the rest of the series. I can’t wait to read Declan’s book next!
