Synopsis

I’m a prisoner in a prestigious world.

A perfect princess locked in a tower.

My father will never let me go.

Not that I could leave. I would never abandon my little sister. Hope comes in the form of a devilishly handsome man with dark eyes and darker secrets.

With each encounter, I’m lured deeper into the labyrinth. The danger lurking beneath his surface calls to me, even as it warns me away.

Except there’s a new side of him every time we meet. A different danger each time we touch. It’s as if three different men want to devour me.

He’s not just one villain. He’s three.

Review

If you have read the Skyscraper Cinderella series, which I highly recommend, you are familiar with the Mannford triplets. Well, they are back in Triple Threat, and somehow K. Webster has made them (well, most of them) likable or at least relatable.

Triple Threat is told in alternating points of view between all four main characters. This helped immensely because when reading the cinderella series, I just lumped them all together, and it was nice to see they have differing personalities.

Don’t get me wrong; the triplets are crazy. I mean, Scout especially is obsessive stalker nuts. And I think I probably felt like I knew him the least, but Sully and Sparrow shone in this book. And Laundry, I wish she had been just a little bit stronger. I get that she was watching out for her sister, but I feel like she could have used just a bit more backbone.
This book ends in quite the cliffhanger, and while you knew this was coming from the start, I didn’t expect it to go down quite like that, and I am very curious about what happens next! I have so many questions, mostly how is this going to work? I can’t wait for book 2!
