Synopsis

They tried to break us.
They almost did.
But we’re not going anywhere.

The Celestial Heirs think the stars are on their side. But they don’t know what’s coming. Fighting them one on one isn’t an option so we have to be stealthy. Remaining under the radar won’t be easy, but if we pull it off, they’ll never suspect our involvement when their lives start falling apart.

Besides, they’ve already taken us to the brink of hell, what more can they really do?

Review

Oh, the angst in this book! I love student-teacher romance, and Zodiac Academy: Ruthless Fae had it. Not only does it have it, but the teacher in question is a snarky ass who I absolutely love!

Unlike the first book, the second book has some of the guys’ perspectives as well. I appreciated getting to know them a little more. Having some insight into their thoughts made me enjoy this book even more. However, Tory and Darcy are still the main narrators. And if you hadn’t guessed, I much preferred Darcy’s chapters because Orion is just…sigh.

I’m interested in reading more of this story. It isn’t a secret that the guys are trying to make sure Darcy and Tory don’t take the throne, but I think there is more to it. There are so many secrets that each character has, and I am excited to see some of those secrets come to light. There is so much more to dissever about everything. I can’t wait to read more. Though I will admit, I would like a little more steam in this series!
